In the past I've seen various ways of checking the current number of online players, but all that I've seen have a fatal flaw. Depending on how the server was turned off (or more specifically, if it crashes) the player count gets messed up. Here's the one I'm talking about:. w+ l$ G' |0 U4 M8 G
Code:( I3 G5 d+ N" k5 `
$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [ACCOUNT_DBF].dbo.[ACCOUNT_TBL] WHERE isuse='J'");
, x8 _ c2 U& Y5 M0 b0 Y" S/ M& Pecho mssql_num_rows($mssql);Here's a more proper code, which will automatically reset the current online count whenever the world server program is opened:3 A+ d- I7 \- c6 h1 U- T. F
Code:
1 @! r+ G7 J$ F* i5 X6 s$mssql = mssql_query("SELECT * FROM [CHARACTER_01_DBF].dbo.[CHARACTER_TBL] WHERE MultiServer='1'");
9 B4 x& @; t, ?+ f" N* Fecho mssql_num_rows($mssql);! H5 x& W) R. U7 J3 O% ^' \
5 u! @8 P. l/ |/ |/ \ |
